Description

This is a walnut veneered writing box  c1860

Externally, it has the original brass escutcheon and motif on the top in a  rectangular shape to gether with brass reinforced corners in the military style,it has not had any restoration to the veneer in the past,but  has now been repolished in our worshop

Internally,it also in the walnut finish,which has been refurbished,we have allowed within the price for a new leather writing surface to be supplied and installed to the clients choice, It has  new hinges and a working lock with a key
