This is a solid and impressive box the benefits from a hidden drawer that is released by a catch inside the lid. Made using Coromandel veneers, a sure sign of the quality of the box, this is further enhanced by very decorative Mother of Pearl inlaid shields and swags to the lid and lock escutcheon.
The inside has been relined with cotton velvet and a new tray has been added using traditional methods. The inside provides a great deal of storage and with the addition of the drawer this box really does have the capacity to hold even the largest of jewellery collections. This is a highly recommended box that will not disappoint.
