The following boxes have been made in our workshops,they have been produced to compliment our range of antique jewellery boxes

We are always being asked for larger boxes which can also accommodate small ring boxes etc. together with loose jewellery, antique boxes are not normally big enough for this,these boxes have therefore been developed with this in mind.

They have been made in the same methods as the Victorian boxes with veneers glued to a solid wood carcasses with modern hinges and ,where required, locks being fitted,they are not heavily polished as new furniture,but finished with a antique wax polish

Cherry Box

This is a dressing table box for jewellery or trinkets,it is made of solid English cherry with a sloping top and book matched mahogany veneers in the lid.

It is lined in blue velvet with a drop in tray and has a compartment below

A Mahogany Veneered Box

This box is in a mahogany veneer on a carcasses of cherry wood made in a simple style.Inside it is finished in a wine velvet material with a drop in tray for rings etc.it has brass escutcheon and fittings

A Sycamore Box

This box is made of a ripple sycamore veneer on a cherry wood carcase,it has a applewood escutcheon and stringing along the front edge.Inside it is finished in blue velvet with a mahogany drop in tray,with good storage underneath
